Description
Woman's dress in cream wool resist or discharge printed with purple (possibly cudbear) meandering stripes outlined with spots, fichu-style collar edged with fringed braid, fitted bodice with v-shaped pleats from shoulders to centre front waist, fastening centre front. Full-length sleeves with panel around lower arm and cuff, both trimmed with fringed braid. Skirt, full- length, open at front waist with tapes ties and belt over, pleated into front and sides and gathered into back waistband, decorated with three bias-cut flat frills around lower skirt. Lined in cotton.
